My initial plan was to present the sections in this book in the order in which you work with clients: Marketing, Sales, and then Consulting. But because I feel like my greatest strength is as a consultant — and because I think that’s what most people want to know about — I’m beginning this book with a collection of stories that demonstrate what I think it takes to succeed as a working consultant, where you’ll be advising clients and providing solutions.
