People who “play the victim” never say “I’m sorry”

I’m reminded that people who “play the victim” say things like:

“You don’t know ...”

or:

“Nobody knows ...”

and no matter what they did, they DON’T say:

“I’m sorry.”

I was just reminded of this when I heard the Elton John song, Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word.
