A Glassfish command reference (cheat sheet)

Here's a copy of a Glassfish cheat sheet (reference page) that I always keep near me whenever I'm working with a Glassfish server. I like a lot of things about Glassfish, but trying to remember all of these commands for the Glassfish CLI is not one of my favorite things.

Here's my Glassfish command reference:

Common vi/vim navigation commands

Here's a quick list of the most common vi and vim editor navigation commands I use every day.

Moving on the current line

Here are the most common navigation commands for moving around the current line:

How to get help on Windows/DOS commands

Okay, this is one small step for me, and not really any steps for mankind ... I never know how to get help on Windows/DOS commands. I try command line options/switches like -h, -help, --help, /help, and \help, and of course none of them works.

Then somehow today I learned that the magic incantation, er, command line option, is /?, like this:

taskkill /?

Duh.

CVS command line reference page

With a little down time this morning I thought I'd start a simple CVS command line reference page (cheat sheet). I've tried to include the most common CVS command line examples here.

Google Chrome browser undocumented commands

If you haven't heard about it already, the new Google Chrome browser includes a number of hidden/undocumented commands that can be entered in the browser's address bar. One of them seems to be an easter egg, the others provide information about the browser itself.

The command names seem self-explanatory, so here they are, give 'em a rip, see what they show about your Chrome browser:

SVN command examples

SVN commands reference FAQ: Can you share some SVN command examples (an SVN commands cheat sheet)?

I just got SVN (Subversion) installed on my MacBook Pro, so I'm throwing these SVN commands out here as a reminder to myself. This is a list of SVN command examples that can be used from the svn command line client:

Mac OS X Finder keyboard shortcuts

Mac OS X Finder FAQ: What keyboard shortcuts can I use with the Mac OS X Finder?

Mac OS X Finder keyboard shortcuts (keystrokes)

Wow, once I learned a few Mac OS X Finder keyboard shortcuts, I like the Finder much more. It was freaking me out that the [Enter] key doesn't actually open a file or directory, it just lets you change the name. The keystrokes are much different than Windows, and it takes a while to get used to them. But once you start using them they're easy to remember.

Recent Unix, Linux, and programming tutorials

I've been working hard lately to get a lot of ideas out of my head and onto the blog. Here's a summary of what I've posted recently on the Unix/Linux side:

Free Unix/Linux cheat sheet (pdf)

I created a "cheat sheet" of commands (including examples) for Unix, Linux, and Mac OS X users. You can download the PDF for free from my Unix education page.

LaTeX command references and examples

I'm not sure this is *the* reference, but here's a Latex help file that helps:

There's also a Postscript version available on the site for easier printing.

Here are a few others with different formatting styles, including some duplicates:
