As seen in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 2017.
Probably the main theme of the book is about people who are afraid. Presumably they’re afraid of dying, and the result is that they’re afraid of living. Meanwhile, a teenage girl who has good reason to be afraid encounters these people who are afraid of life, and eventually realizes that a fear of life is no way to live. Despite a horrific thing that has happened in her recent past, she makes a conscious decision to live her life.
Here’s a photo of the view in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
This is a painting of a Native American Indian that I saw in Santa Fe, New Mexico. (Sorry, I don’t know the artists name.)
Here’s part of the road (I-25) from Colorado to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
As I continue to work through photos, this is a photo of a painting of a church, which I believe I saw in the lobby of the La Fonda hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
I was going through some photos recently and came across this one of The Feed Store Church, which is between Alamosa and Monte Vista, a rural area in southern Colorado. I pass it when I drive back home after visiting Taos, Los Alamos, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. I thought it was some sort of a combination of a feed store and a church, but it turns out that it’s a church.
Seeing that we had another snow storm here in Colorado, I thought I'd share another photo of El Sanctuario de Chimayo in the winter. (El Sanctuario de Chimayo, near Santa Fe, New Mexico)
This is a photo from the drive from Santa Fe, New Mexico north to Colorado, taking the back roads (Route 285) rather than the expressway. I took this photo in March, 2015.
If you happen to walk down the right side street in Santa Fe, New Mexico, you’ll come across this Burro Alley painting on a wall.
