If you suffer from horrible, unexplained bone pain where it feels like your bones are spontaneously breaking for no reason, you might want to have your doctor test you for things like systemic mastocytosis and mast cell activation disease (MCAD, also known as mast cell activation syndrome, or MCAS). I just noticed that a person on The Mastocytosis Society Facebook group posted a question about having horrible bone pain, and she received hundreds of responses from other people with mastocytosis and MCAD/MCAS.
I used to have that horribly before doctors discovered that I have MCAS, and since receiving treatment I still have bone pain, but to a much lesser degree.
