For the last couple of years I have been buying Nestle Pure Life bottled water with no complaints, but when I bought 12-packs over the last three weeks I’ve noticed that they have a really bad taste. I let the first 12-pack slide, thinking that maybe it got hot in a warehouse somewhere, even though we’re in the end of the winter here. But when I got the first bottle out of the second 12-pack and it also tasted bad, I thought something must be up.
Today is March 30, 2016, and I just google’d for recalls of Nestle Pure Life bottled water, and didn’t see any current results, but I won’t be surprised to see a recall soon. I’d joke that there’s something “fishy” in their water, but really, it tastes like there’s something “dirty” in their water.
Followup: I don’t know how to go about notifying a government agency about this, but tonight I will write Nestle about this, and also check into writing the EPA or another agency.
