July, 2019: Hello, Scala, is now available only in print form:
It was previously available in PDF and Kindle format, but there are some big changes planned, so those versions have been removed for the time being.
As the subtitle of the book shows, the purpose of this book is to help you learn the Scala programming language with small, easy lessons. The book consists of a little over 50 lessons, and it’s 258 pages long.
You can also preview an older version of the book at my Hello, Scala website.
I’d write more, but all of those links have detailed information about the book, so please visit any of those pages for more information.
I'm studing scala using this your book bought through Amazon.
Thank you SO MUCH!
The book is great, easy to use, very well structured. It is real pleasure to go through it. Previously I bought several other printed books (not yours) and was very dissappointed. Your book saved me so much hours and nerves.
With your book I'm starting to like scala more and more. I had also started with the preview of "Simplified..." - the same wonderful story but after I found Hello scala I decided to return to "simplified.." after finishing this book.
Once again - thank you very much for the great work!
With best New Year wishes
