The ability to sponsor a web page is a new feature, so this program will surely evolve over time. Here are the initial terms and conditions of our "sponsor a page" project.

Where will my ad be placed?

As you've probably seen on the web page that directed you here, the "Sponsor a Page" text is placed at the top of a web page content. This is an extremely valuable and preferred location.

Facebook status - lots of users, nothing being said

I relented to the pressure from several people recently, and reactivated my Facebook account. To my surprise, everyone but the kids seem to have picked up on the privacy and security concerns, and in short, nobody is saying anything.

No more pop-under ads

One of my 2009/2010 New Year's resolutions was to do what I just did: Turn off the pop-under ads on this website.

The numbers behind "Do You Yahoo?"

In this article, "Do You Yahoo?", states that Yahoo and Google have roughly the same number of visitors, but Google makes 11 times as much money as Yahoo does. Since the early days of advertising I've known that advertising on search results pages pays a lot more than advertising on content-display pages, but I've never seen it compared at 11 times higher. Apple makes me use a Microsoft keyboard alvin May 14, 2009 - 7:30pm

My only rant against Apple these days is that when I use my iMac I've had to resort to using a Microsoft keyboard. That's because at the ripe age of 45 I have some arthritis in my fingers, and the keys on Apple's keyboards are too hard to press. You might be surprised, but it really hurts to press those hard keys thousands of times a day.
