Introduction

In my first tutorial ("How to Create a Podcast with GarageBand") I showed you how to create a basic podcast, using just your own voice recordings.

Then, in my second tutorial ("How to Create a Podcast with GarageBand, Part 2") I started to show you more advanced features, including working with the Loop Browser to add jingles and stingers, how to work with multiple recordings, and introduced the concept of ducking.

In this third installment we'll get into more complicated features, including splitting tracks, joining tracks, copying and pasting clips, how to bring in other external audio files, adding more tracks, and creating a podcast that has a music clip playing in the background behind your recording (including more ducking).

If you're ready, let's get started.
