In my previous tutorial ("How to Create a Podcast with GarageBand") I showed you how to create a basic podcast, using just your own voice recordings. In this tutorial I'll show you how to add some more complicated features to a podcast, including introductory music, multiple audio clips, and using sound effects in your recordings.
Here's a quick summary of what we're going to do in this tutorial:
- We'll make a few changes to the GarageBand environment so we can easily add pre-built sounds to our podcast.
- We'll start our podcast with a little introductory music.
- We'll add a voice recording to the podcast, and learn how to set the gap between the introductory music and our voice recording.
- We'll add other sound effects to make our podcast interesting.
- We'll learn how to play back our podcast, starting at any time marker.
- We'll learn about the concept of ducking.
If you're ready, let's begin.
