I just read this Richard Gere “I wish you happiness” quote at this G+ link, then found this image on Pinterest. (I don’t know the original source of this image, but thank you.)
When I first saw this photo I thought, “Those brown spots can’t be Kodiak grizzlies ... or that’s an enormous fish.” Turns out that enormous fish is just one of many whales that have died in the Gulf of Alaska this year in what is termed “an unusual mortality event.” If you read this story on the Alaska Dispatch News, you’ll see that there is a lot of bad news in the Pacific Ocean, from Alaska to California.
