Dalai Lama, at Syracuse University, calls on youth to change the future

The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, took the Goldstein Auditorium stage in the Schine Student Center on the Syracuse University campus at about 9:40 a.m. He was flanked by some big names in U.S. and world politics including former Atlanta mayor and U.N. ambassador Andrew Young and former head of the CIA James Woolsey.

Working with an interpreter, but speaking English to the crowd, the Dalai Lama was humble, reminding moderator Ann Curry that he had much to learn from his fellow panelists.
