Apple buying back stock at 4-6% per year

Although you have to sign up to Seeking Alpha to see this article, it makes an interesting point: Apple has been buying back their stock at the rate of 4-6% per year. So, even if their revenue and/or earnings were flat, their stock price should rise by that amount each year.
