Until Thanksgiving of 2015 I only knew a little about a song called Alice’s Restaurant ... the end of it is the only part I remember. But in 2015 I learned that it’s a story about some events that started fifty years earlier, on Thanksgiving Day, 1965. (You can find the story here on Wikipedia.)
