Wed, Aug 9, 2006 (Poor quality of the Targus Chill Pad)

While the Targus Chill Pad is a great idea, it is the worst manufactured piece of equipment I can ever recall using. I really can't remember buying anything that was made with such poor quality.

The rubber pads on the top of the Chill Pad constantly fall out. I've tried glueing them in to keep them in, and after the fourth attempt they seem to be staying in.

Now one of the fans makes a god-awful racket every time I start the power. Pushing down on the fan repeatedly quiets it down, but it's also incredibly annoying. If anyone is thinking about being a competitor in this area I think the poor quality of the Targus Chill Pad is leaving the door wide open for you.
