Maybe because I'm a bit of an old-timer, or maybe because I like the speed, I often use mutt for my email. Knowing that, DD forwarded me this link of good mutt tips. As an old(er) friend might say, I'm all over that like green on a frog.
And on an unrelated note, whatever anyone ever tells you, never use a MySQL database in development, and Postgres in production (or vice-versa). Those little nuances will slow you down at important times. I'm not saying "never switch from one to the other", I'm just saying what I wrote: Don't use one in Dev and the other in Production. At least in a small operation, I find it really annoying, and it slows me down.
