Mac Java FAQ: How do I report Mac Java bugs?
I just saw this information on the Mac Java mailing list, how to report Mac Java bugs:
- Report Java SE 6 bug (provided by Apple):
bugreporter.apple.com - Report OpenJDK (7+) bugs (provided by Oracle):
java.net/jira/browse/MACOSX_PORT
Also, here's a link to where you can sign up for Apple's current Mac Java mailing list (current as of August, 2011).
Java 6 is currently used on Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard. I'm not sure exactly what Apple is doing with Java on the Mac Lion platform, but I'll update this article if/when I upgrade to Lion.
