I started the Google AdWords campaign last night. I'm using AdWords to supplement some of the searches where the www.devdaily.com site does not appear in the first page of search results. One example is when google users search for "unix example", the "www" site does not show up well for some reason. Therefore, I'm spending a little money to buy some exposure. Stay tuned for results...
Holy disasters averted!
I just typed a long email message in mutt, using vi as my editor. I accidentally hit "u" too often in command mode, wiping out the entire email message! After a little bit of research, and *not* leaving vi, I found the "redo" command. Type
:redo
while in command mode, and everything magically returns. (phew!)
Actually, I should be careful here. This was really using vim, version 5.7. Possible big difference between vi and vim on this one.
